It's been a while since I have last posted something here. The thing with me and 'writing' is - I can't squeeze anything out of myself when I don't feel like it. The past few weeks have been a roller coaster ride of events, some are even life changing (or will be!), nevertheless, I am still very grateful for all the things I am continuously being blessed with. Blessings which can be very overwhelming!
I can't honestly include all the details of the things I've been doing, the places I've been visiting and the food I've been eating - (not that I have a lot going on. haha) however I was able to take a few snapshots. Oh wait, these are all photos of food! Please bare with me, I shall take more photos of people and places the next time around ;-)
It was during one of those weekends when I had to go to Trinoma to pick a bag which I ordered online. The seller was kind enough to do a meet up. I haven't been to Trinoma for quite a while since I'm such a south loving person and I can't seem to find comfort in places I'm not used to being at. To cut the long story short, Trinoma gave me a huge headache in my less-than-an-hour-stay there just because there are people EVERYWHERE you look. The mall was simply too crowded. I love going window shopping there, but I simply couldn't stand the number of people cramped in that mall. So, we decided to drop by Taco Bell at least before going back to our beloved territory - Makati. I'm a huge fan of Taco Bell and it is only at Trinoma that my taste buds get to experience their delicious dishes.
As unhealthy as this may sound, I love anything that has potatoes and cheese.
After our Taco Bell delight, we went straight back to Makati and how I missed Glorietta, even SM Makati had fewer people in it. I can't believe how suffocating Trinoma is during Saturdays! Later that day, we went to Greenhills, at the condo of Leo's grand mother. I simply love their unit located at the 22nd floor. When you go to the balcony, you will be able to see the whole of Greenhills. It's so refreshing to be there. After having dinner, we then watched Taken 2 at the Promenade. I saw this Taho stall, and I couldn't resist it. I had to get some Taho! Leo on the other hand had his cravings for fries or potatoes, so he had his huge serving of crispy fried potatoes
The movie was good, but I'm never watching at Promenade again. Just when the film was at its climax, their projector got busted, so the film stopped for nearly 20 minutes, it was such a turn off. Nonetheless, I really enjoyed this day:)
Also, I feel the need to include this:) In the Philippines, the usual things you'd be receiving in the mail are bills and association memos, thus we never make use of the mailing services when writing letters nor sending post cards for some obvious reasons. But, just a week ago, I received my first post card ever - all the way from Europe! I felt like a kid receiving a loot bag of goodies! If you're reading this, THANK YOU!;) This is one of the most thoughtful things someone has ever done for me:)
