One Fort Night

Last Saturday, October 14, I decided to meet up with one of best friends from college, Celeste. She's been so busy with Medicine School, so I'm glad she was able to spare me some decent free time for unwinding and catching up (Thanks so much, Ki!). We agreed on trying out this new sandwich place at Fort, Quiznos, which is gaining popularity for being better than the famous sandwich hub, Subway. I must say the hear says are true! Their sandwiches are way better than Subway (at least for me). As always, I would ask for the "Best Seller" and for their Classic sandwiches, I chose the Italian Supreme (If I got the name correctly!), 8 inches of pure goodness! I asked them to have it divided into 2 though, other half is to-go, other half, I ate it there:) I could eat here everyday IF ONLY they were more affordable! The prices are okay, just not as affordable for an every day meal.

Celeste came with Pau, while I came with Leo. But then, the boys had to leave earlier, so it was pure bonding time for us ladies:) And no, we didn't go somewhere to party despite the fact that we were at Fort, on a Saturday evening. We just watched people walk past us as we talked and munched on cupcakes. Why do we act so old?! haha! We found ourselves at Sonja's, a place known for its delicious cupcakes. We talked about a lot of things jumping from one topic to another. Later on, she remembered she needed to buy something. Off we went to Market Market, a huge place with the best bargains. How I missed shopping with her! We get along very well from where to go, what to do, even what to wear! So, yes, we ended up buying things ;-)
Short while after, Leo went back for us, and we decided to ambush Vianne at her house since she will be celebrating her birthday. Gave her a little something to fatten her up then off we were to Mecato, with Vianne too this time. Then we remembered that Tracy was also in the area, so we asked her to join us also. She came from Glorietta along with Miko. So much for a random meet up! Jim, who is working at St. Luke's was also able to drop by for a while!

Really enjoyed seeing some of my favorite people. Spent the evening chatting and eating. The saying is true, unplanned get together(s) are the ones which push through!
