404 Reunion: UST, Taft & Polo Club

Today was fun, tiring & productive altogether. My room mates (from the dorm I stayed at during college) & I decided to get a few copies of much needed documents from UST, so we decided to meet up then hang out afterwards for some routine catching up.
The bond we share is different & definitely for keeps! Icris (whom I shared the same alma mater with before college) & I lived together for 3 years, while Innah, (who was among my first new found friends in college) plus Icris, and I lived together for 2 years. It's hard to find people whom you'll get along with under the same roof, but I'm more than lucky to have found the perfect college roomies who accept the person I am regardless of the mood I'm in:) We're comfortable with waking up - not having to strike a conversation immediately & I think we've all seen the best & the worst of each other. haha! You know how dramatic college can get;-) How I miss sharing a room & living with these amazing women! They're definitely the sisters I never had:)

Moving on, Innah & I agreed to meet at UST at around 9-10am -ish, but then I failed to be there on time. hihi (Sorry Innah!). I'm having issues on waking up early since I haven't been used to waking up in the morning for the longest time now. Pardon my laziness. haha! I got there a little past 11, and so we hurriedly tried to request for the papers & pay at the accounting office. Unfortunately, we got there 5 minutes late:( They have a lunch break of 11:30am-1pm. Ugh. So we had to have lunch without Icris at UST (haha! Sorry Icris! - we originally planned on having lunch together). As usual, all the food stalls were full, so naturally we ended up at KFC - which has the biggest sitting capacity among the food stalls in UST's car park.

We then went to the Accounting office to pay for the said documents, then back to the Medicine building to request for a different set of papers (Oh the hassle of going through this!) & we were told to go back to have the papers claimed after a few days - so next week, we shall be back at the lovely UST. I couldn't help but feel too old to NOT know the young faces of the new generation of Nursing students. I could barely recognize a face! Well I saw a handful of familiar faces but I guess we're really getting old:(

Innah & I went to her condo at Taft for our chilling out & catching up session. Icris arrived shortly after we got there. Updated each other on what's happening, "life now," etc. plus of course we had our walking down on memory lane moments. haha! Things were way easier back in college. Among the things I miss the most was the freedom that came along with living in a condo type dormitory (without a curfew) & them girls who were part of the complete dormitory package;-) Imagine how fun it is having a space all to yourself:)

A little bit later, a very close friend of ours dropped by. Since parking at Taft is always almost impossible, he decided to kidnap us (as always. haha) & off we went to Makati. It's always random with them. Originally, Icris & Dwight were supposed to meet up after our little girl bonding, turned out we tagged along with them to Manila Polo Club haha! Thanks for the scrumptious dinner, Dwight!:)
I love them! We've seen them grow from the 'just friends' stage to what they are now - a lovely couple:) I'm excited for your engagement (in the future. haha)!;-) Also, thanks to Dwight who turned our dorm to a flower shop, due to Icris' weekly delivery of huge pretty bouquets.

Japanese style appetizers
Caesar salad for the ladies. Delicioso!
Innah & I went Italian for our main course, the classic Lasagna. This seemingly small bowl is deceiving. The serving was just too creamy, cheesy, filling & tasteful. So good!:) We weren't able to finish each of our orders. haha
So stuffed with great food! The company of such amazing people makes it even better:) I hope our plans of going somewhere will push through despite the differences of our schedules! Until our next date, my gorgeous roomies!:)

North Forbes, Rm. 404 is where it all began!:) I miss that place so much!
